The Brief:
Our clients in Crick wanted a bright, streamlined kitchen that would feel clean, modern and highly practical, while making excellent use of the unusual layout of the space. The aim was to create a calm contemporary kitchen with quality appliances, generous storage and a fresh, uncluttered finish. With a compact working area and a strong focus on everyday usability, the new kitchen design needed to maximise storage, maintain clear worktop space and introduce a refined finish that would feel elegant without being overly busy.
The Design:
For this Crick kitchen project, our Eat Soak Sleep kitchen designers produced a sleek Rotpunkt German kitchen with a soft, contemporary palette and a highly practical layout. The combination of pale kitchen doors, blue-grey tall units and warm wood accents creates a balanced look that feels bright, modern and welcoming.
The kitchen features a quartz worktop with matching backsplash and upstands, giving the scheme a seamless, durable and premium finish. A compact peninsula area provides additional preparation space and helps define the room, while the clean handleless kitchen doors keep the overall appearance simple and uncluttered. Storage was a key part of the design, with tall cabinetry housing the integrated appliances and clever electromechanical cupboard openers helping to maintain the sleek, minimal look. Open wood shelving adds warmth and display space, softening the contemporary cabinetry and creating a more personal feel.
A premium suite of Miele appliances was specified, including a Miele induction hob, steam combination oven, oven, warming drawer, integrated dishwasher and integrated fridge freezer. A Quooker tap adds further convenience, while integrated feature lighting enhances the work surfaces and gives the kitchen a bright, polished finish.
The Result:
This Crick kitchen demonstrates how a compact modern kitchen can feel spacious, elegant and highly functional. By combining a Rotpunkt German kitchen, quartz worksurfaces, premium Miele appliances, integrated lighting and clever storage features, Eat Soak Sleep created a refined kitchen that is perfectly suited to modern everyday living.
