Project Notes: Hillmorton Townhouse Kitchen
The Brief:
Our clients in Hillmorton wanted a sophisticated townhouse kitchen that would feel warm, practical and full of character, while making excellent use of a compact space. The aim was to create a contemporary kitchen with a rich colour palette, premium finishes and clever storage, without losing the welcoming feel of the home. With a smaller footprint to work with, the challenge for this design was ensuring generous functionality, with integrated appliances and a comfortable place for casual dining.
The Design:
For this Hillmorton kitchen project, Eat Soak Sleep designed a stylish Rotpunkt German kitchen with a refined mix of dark green cabinetry, dark wood-effect wall units and elegant porcelain worksurfaces. The combination creates a rich, atmospheric look, while the handleless kitchen doors keep the overall design clean and modern. The layout makes clever use of the available space, with wall-mounted cupboards, integrated storage and a compact breakfast bar providing both practicality and personality. The breakfast bar introduces a sociable feature within the room, offering a relaxed spot for morning coffee, informal meals or conversation while cooking. The porcelain worktop adds a luxurious finish, complemented by an undermounted sink, ceramic tile backsplash and integrated lighting beneath the wall units. The glass-fronted wall cabinets soften the darker finishes, while the column radiator and porcelain floor tiles add to the carefully considered townhouse feel.
High-performance Siemens appliances were integrated into the design, including a Siemens integrated dishwasher, integrated fridge freezer, combination oven and microwave, induction hob and cooker hood. A Quooker tap adds everyday convenience and completes the premium specification.

This Hillmorton townhouse kitchen demonstrates how a compact kitchen can feel elegant, atmospheric and highly functional.
