Project Notes: Bilton Bedroom Study
The Brief:
Our clients in Bilton wanted a calm, modern bedroom that would feel elegant, practical and beautifully organised. The aim was to create a complete bedroom scheme with generous fitted storage, a dedicated dressing area and subtle lighting, while maintaining a soft, relaxed feel throughout the room.
The design needed to make excellent use of the available space, including angled areas and awkward corners, while creating a more luxurious and considered bedroom environment.
The Design:
For this Bilton bedroom project, our Eat Soak Sleep designers created a fully bespoke fitted bedroom with a careful balance of painted cabinetry, warm wood-effect detailing and soft neutral finishes. The scheme includes hidden wardrobes, bespoke angled wardrobes, internal drawers and bedside tables, creating a highly practical storage solution without overwhelming the room.
A dedicated dressing area adds a luxurious and functional feature, complete with an illuminated mirror, open shelving, drawer storage and integrated lighting. The warm wood finish around the dressing area creates a natural contrast against the lighter wardrobe doors, helping the space feel calm, refined and inviting.
One of the standout features is the use of bespoke bedroom dividers, which gently separate the bedroom and dressing zones while allowing light and openness to flow through the space. Downlights and integrated lighting enhance the overall atmosphere, adding a soft evening glow and highlighting the craftsmanship of the fitted furniture.
The Result:
This Bilton bedroom study shows how bespoke fitted furniture can transform a bedroom into a beautifully organised, multi-functional space. By combining hidden wardrobes, angled storage, open shelving, internal drawers, bedside tables and a dedicated dressing area, Eat Soak Sleep created a modern bedroom that feels elegant, practical and perfectly tailored to everyday living.
