Project Notes: Guilsborough Bathroom – Ensuite
The Brief:
Following the master bathroom design in the same Guilsborough home, our clients wanted this second ensuite to feel connected to the wider scheme while having its own lighter, softer character. The aim was to create a practical and elegant ensuite with a walk-in shower, smart storage and warm brushed brass finishes that would echo the main bathroom without feeling identical. The room needed to feel fresh, bright, and easy to use day-to-day, while still carrying through the same sense of considered detail and modern luxury.
The Design:
For this Guilsborough ensuite bathroom project, Eat Soak Sleep created a fully tiled bathroom with a clean, calming palette and carefully coordinated brushed brass detailing. The walk-in shower includes a rainfall shower head, resin shower tray and flipper panel, creating a practical showering area that feels open and spacious within the room. Continuity with the master bathroom was achieved through the use of brushed brass brassware, a matching towel rail, brass-toned flush plate and warm metallic accents throughout. These finishes add warmth against the soft wall tiles and connect the ensuite visually to the larger bathroom scheme.
A 700mm vanity unit provides useful storage while keeping the room neat and uncluttered. The illuminated mirror, feature lighting and shower niche add both practicality and atmosphere, while the patterned floor brings a decorative touch and gives the ensuite its own individual personality. The wall-hung toilet and electric underfloor heating complete the space with a clean, comfortable and modern finish.
The Result:
This Guilsborough ensuite shows how a second bathroom can feel cohesive with the rest of the home while still having its own identity. By combining a walk-in shower, brushed brass finishes, patterned flooring, a practical vanity unit, feature lighting and electric underfloor heating, Eat Soak Sleep created a bright, elegant and highly functional ensuite that complements the master bathroom beautifully.
