Project Notes: Rugby Town House Master Ensuite
The Brief:
Our clients in Rugby wanted a dramatic master ensuite that would feel luxurious, characterful and closely connected to the style of their townhouse. The aim was to create a compact but highly impactful shower room, combining traditional detailing with bold contemporary surfaces and refined brushed brass finishes. The design needed to feel practical for everyday use while also bringing a boutique hotel feel to the master bedroom suite.
The Design:
For this Rugby ensuite bathroom project, Eat Soak Sleep created a striking shower room using large-format marble-effect porcelain tiles in a dark, dramatic finish. The 1200 x 600mm tiles create a seamless, high-end look across the walls and floor, while the brushed brass brassware adds warmth and contrast against the darker surfaces. A generous 1700 x 900mm anthracite resin shower tray provides a spacious showering area, complemented by a glass shower enclosure and traditional-style brass shower fittings. The scheme also includes a concealed cistern and wall-hung pan, helping to keep the layout clean and space-efficient.
Traditional touches, including the classic basin, decorative mirror, traditional towel warmer and brushed brass detailing, soften the modern tile finish and tie the ensuite back to the character of the townhouse. A hidden door into the storage area adds a practical feature, keeping the room organised without disrupting the overall design.
The Result:
This Rugby townhouse master ensuite shows how a compact shower room can still feel bold, luxurious and full of personality. By combining dramatic marble-effect porcelain tiles, brushed brass fittings, a spacious shower area, concealed sanitaryware and traditional detailing, our expert Eat Soak Sleep designers created a bathroom that feels elegant, atmospheric and perfectly suited to a characterful townhouse setting.
