The Brief:
Our clients in Warwick wanted a modern kitchen that would feel stylish, sociable and practical, with a strong focus on everyday usability. The aim was to create a contemporary space that offered generous storage, a functional cooking area and a relaxed place to sit, gather and entertain.With an open-plan feel and a layout centred around a kitchen island, the design needed to balance clean modern finishes with warmth, texture and character.
The Design:
For this Warwick kitchen project, Eat Soak Sleep designed an L-shaped kitchen with island, creating a practical and sociable layout that works beautifully for modern living. The island provides valuable preparation space, additional storage and informal seating, making it a natural focal point within the room. The kitchen combines light, neutral cabinetry with darker wood-effect tall units, creating a striking contrast while keeping the overall look calm and refined. Integrated appliances are built into the tall cabinetry for a streamlined finish, while the glass-fronted display cabinet adds a stylish feature and helps break up the darker tones.
A light worksurface with warm edging helps give the kitchen a clean, contemporary look, while open shelving, plants and carefully positioned lighting add softness and personality. The hanging plant feature above the island introduces an eye-catching design detail, helping the kitchen feel fresh, lived-in and welcoming.

This Warwick kitchen shows how a contemporary kitchen can feel both sleek and homely.
