Project Notes: Guilsborough Bathroom – Master Bathroom
The Brief:
Our clients in Guilsborough wanted a luxurious master bathroom that would feel calm, refined and highly practical, with a strong focus on elegant finishes and everyday comfort. The aim was to create a modern bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, generous vanity area and carefully integrated storage, while keeping the overall design bright, polished and easy to use. The clients wanted the space to feel sophisticated without being cold, combining marble-effect surfaces, brushed brass details and subtle lighting to create a hotel-inspired finish.
The Design:
For this Guilsborough bathroom project, Eat Soak Sleep created a fully tiled master bathroom using soft marble-effect shower panels to bring depth, movement and a sense of luxury to the space. The walk-in shower features a generous 1700 x 900mm SMO resin tray, a clear glass screen and a rainfall shower head, creating a spacious and practical showering area. A 900mm vanity unit provides useful storage while adding contrast against the lighter wall finishes. Brushed brass finishes and a matching flush plate introduce warmth and a premium feel, helping to soften the cool marble tones.
Bespoke storage niches and a recessed mirror were built into the design to make the most of the available space while keeping the room uncluttered. Feature lighting within the niches adds atmosphere and highlights the tile finish, while electric underfloor heating brings comfort to the fully tiled scheme.
The Result:
This Guilsborough master bathroom shows how a modern bathroom can feel both practical and luxurious. By combining a spacious walk-in shower, marble-effect surfaces, brushed brass fittings, bespoke storage niches, feature lighting and electric underfloor heating, Eat Soak Sleep created a bathroom that feels elegant, calm and perfectly suited to everyday modern living.
