Project Notes: Stockton Kitchen
The Brief:
Our clients in Stockton wanted a sleek, contemporary kitchen that would make the very best use of a compact, narrow space without compromising on storage, practicality or finish. The aim was to create a modern fitted kitchen with a clean, streamlined look, quality appliances and clever hidden storage, while keeping the overall design calm, bright and easy to use. With the room arranged around a practical working layout, the design needed to maximise worktop space, keep appliances neatly integrated and introduce a refined, high-quality finish throughout.
The Design:
For this Stockton kitchen project, Eat Soak Sleep designed a sophisticated U-shaped kitchen using a Rotpunkt German kitchen system. This layout creates an efficient working triangle between the sink, hob, ovens and preparation areas, making excellent use of the available space while keeping the room feeling organised and uncluttered. The kitchen features soft neutral handleless kitchen doors, enhanced by a veneer wood handleless rail for subtle warmth and definition. The Dekton porcelain worktop and matching backsplash add a luxurious, durable surface with natural stone-inspired texture, helping to bring depth and movement to the scheme.
A full suite of integrated Siemens appliances was specified, including a Siemens induction hob, Siemens oven, Siemens combination microwave oven, integrated dishwasher and integrated fridge freezer. A Caple fully integrated wine fridge with furniture door adds a discreet luxury feature, while a Quooker tap brings everyday convenience to the sink area.
A further standout design detail is the concealed pantry and drinks area, hidden behind reeded veneer wood bifold doors. This creates a practical but elegant storage zone for glassware, small appliances and everyday essentials. Handleless rail lighting and downlights complete the scheme, adding soft illumination to the worksurfaces and helping the kitchen feel bright, polished and highly functional.
The Result:
This Stockton kitchen demonstrates how a compact kitchen can be transformed into a beautifully efficient and luxurious modern space. By combining a practical U-shaped layout, a Rotpunkt German kitchen, premium Dekton worksurfaces, integrated Siemens appliances, concealed storage and refined handleless detailing, Eat Soak Sleep created a kitchen that feels elegant, organised and perfectly suited to modern everyday living.
