The Brief:
For this Stretton On Dunsmore main bathroom, the clients wanted a practical family bathroom that would feel smart, durable and easy to use every day, while still having a strong sense of style. As the main bathroom in the home, the space needed to work for family life, combining useful storage, a bath, showering facilities and a clean, modern finish.
The aim was to create a fully tiled bathroom with fitted furniture, concealed storage and a striking feature tile that would add depth and interest without overwhelming the room.
The Design:
Eat Soak Sleep designed this bathroom around a carefully planned layout that makes excellent use of the available space. The fitted furniture provides a streamlined solution, incorporating the basin, WC and storage into one continuous run beneath the window. The dark blue furniture adds contrast against the lighter wall and floor tiles, while the white worktop keeps the scheme fresh and practical.
The bath is positioned alongside the fitted furniture, with matching dark panelling for a coordinated finish. A large format feature tile creates a dramatic focal point around the bath and shower area, introducing deep blue, grey and gold-toned veining that brings character and movement to the room.
The recessed 800 x 800mm shower has been designed with an infold shower door, making it a space-efficient choice for a busy family bathroom. Bespoke storage niches have been built into the design, including a feature niche finished with the same statement tile for a cohesive look. Feature lighting highlights the niches and adds warmth to the overall scheme. Fully tiled walls, electric underfloor heating and practical fitted storage complete the space, giving the bathroom a polished, easy-to-maintain finish.
The Result:
This Stretton On Dunsmore main bathroom is a stylish yet highly practical family bathroom, combining fitted furniture, clever storage, a recessed shower and a striking feature tile. The finished room feels modern, organised and comfortable, with a design that balances everyday function with a more luxurious, considered finish.
